It is not too late to get started planning your garden. Peruse your favorite nursery and seed catalog for the choices available to you. Some seeds may need to be started inside, so get them in a timely fashion. Coupons or discounts may be available for ordering early.
My order will come soon. Even though the landscape is overrun with drifts of snow, spring will come sooner than we think. So to avoid the hurried “trip to the store” to buy my seed, I plan to buy them from the comfort of my home by catalog.
This little card named, “Seed Packets” will bring back memories of the garden or the farm to someone. It might even make a fun May Day gift if you slip a package of seeds in with the card. Use this card to greet your friends and celebrate the return of spring. View this and other cards in our online store.

Yay for feeling like spring is finally here! I don’t think I’m going to get to do a garden this year, though. Sadly, there are too many things up-in-the-air right now. I’m so thankful for the summers I have been able to. I still have leftovers on my shelf and in my freezer 🙂

I just got my seeds a couple of days ago. I tried a new company. We shall see if that was worth it. I have a few plants to start in the house. I am trying oregano. Last year I planted twice and nothing germinated from either planting. So I hope I get better results this year. I also have a Roma tomato to start indoors. My broccoli does not have to be started early, but I think I will try a few to see if I can get a bit of a head start on that crop.
